Have your say on pre-school speech and language therapy in Lincolnshire
They are seeking feedback on pre-school (aged 0-4) speech and language therapy support in Lincolnshire.
Last September the service moved away from referrals and waiting lists and piloted a drop-in sessions model, introducing 12 family hubs and virtual options across Lincolnshire for families to attend sessions as they needed them.
At these sessions:
· Children can be assessed and supported on the same day
· Parents and carers receive practical advice and activities
· Follow-up support can be arranged where needed such as groups and 1-1 support
· Children with more complex needs can be identified and referred for specialist SLT support
· Early years setting can also access support at these drop-in sessions
They are considering whether to make this pilot permanent, and want to hear from people who use, might use in future, refer into, or are affected by this service.
